Daddy A Go Go: Eat Every Bean and Pea on Your Plate

Try to say the title of this CD without smiling. Same goes for playing it. John Boydston, aka Daddy A Go Go, is quite a punny guy. On his 5th full length CD he's got plenty of rock references & puns.
There's more of a Rolling Stones feel than AC/DC in "For Those About to Walk (We Salute You)." A flamingo named Floyd is a celebrated hero in "Pink Floyd Saves Hugh Manatee." Check out the punchy Ramones cover of "Blitzkrieg Bop (Kids Beat Bop)" performed by John and sons, Jake, 14, & Max, 11. On "Dads Who Rock," Boydston puts tounge firmly in cheek when he declares that dad & his band sound more like The Replacements. If you've ever seen the Mats live, you know what he's talking about.
